  Born in Madrid, he studies in the Royal Conservatoire of Music of this city, for which he is a graduate in the speciality of classic guitar. His special interest for the Early Music leads him to studying preclassic instruments as the vihuela, lutes or baroque guitar and the romantic guitar, etc., with teachers as Gerardo Arriaga, Hopkinson Smith and specially Paul O'Dette, studying both the original techniques and the continuous.

He perform regularmente with some of the most important formations of ancient music of this country in important festivals and cycles as Cycles of Chamber of the National Auditorium of Madrid, Autumn Festival from Madrid, Autumn Festival in Santander, Cycle of the Romanesque Palentino, International Festival of León's Organ, concerts of Baroque Music of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Prado Museum in Madrid, Foundation Juan March, Cycle “Los Siglos de Oro ”, Quincena Musical Donostiarra, Institute Cervantes, both in Spain and in France, Hungary and Portugal, with a repertoire that it includes from the Renaissance up to the Baroque.

He has in your credit 7 recordings dedicated so much to the Spanish Baroque as to the European in the labels XCP, Tecno-Saga, Glissando, and Naxos, and recordings for RNE and TVE.

It has been teacher of Ancient Instruments from the Renaissance and Baroque and chamber music of the Department of Early Music of the Conservatoire in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid). Nowadays he is a teacher of Arturo Soria's Professional Conservatoire of Madrid, in the same speciality.
