Josquin Desprez is considered the most out-standing and influential composer in the history of the western music, his style defined largely the development of the Renaissance and influenced in all the later composers. The music by Desprez of spread for the whole Europe and even more than one century after your death, already in full baroque, his works were admired and inspiring new compositions.
The Josquin Circle was born in 2006 as a new concept in the interpretation of the ancient music in Spain: four masculine voices present the best polyphonic works from the European Renaissance with special emphasis in the work by the French Flemish composer, the generation who grew to your shade and those who him continued, with a technical and musical exigency of the highest level.
The Josquin Circle seeks to catch the attention of the public on Josquin, predecessors and pupils, imitators and admirers to discover a new orientation in the interpretation of this music, unjustly corrected of brainy, boring and weary.
